Yadkin River Trail is a .6 mile moderately sloped trail that begins approximately .5 mile south of the third Horne Creek crossing on the north side of the Yadkin river. this trail runs through lowland hardwood forest continuing along the north shore of the Yadkin where it runs through the shallows and around the edges of two islands ending on the south shore. Note: It is recommended not to cross the river unless one can see the bottom or the river is not running high.
Directions: From Winston-Salem, NC, Take US 52 north to the Pinnacle. Follow signs for "Horne Creek Living Historical Farm." This section of the park's entrance is .4 miles beyond the entrance to Horne Creek Farm. After passing the entrance, park across from the picnic area.
