Description

The trail with in Clifty Wilderness follows an abandoned log road down a ridge for approximately 1.0 mile. Then It begins to descend down the drainage to Swift Camp Creek Trail #219.

Directions

Turn South off the Mountain Parkway at Slade. KY to Highway 11. Follow Hwy. 11 North 0.1 mile to Hwy. 15. Travel east on Hwy. 15 7.0 miles to Hwy. 715 on the left. Travel North on Hwy. 715 2.7 miles to Wildcat Trail parking area on left.

Highlights

The plant life along the ridge is a mixture or hardwoods and pine with hemlock and rhododendron shrubs underneath the Cliff.
