Description

The trail leaves Highway 715 and extends along a wooded ridge spur to Whistling Arch. The trail's vegetation Is large evergreen Pines, with other varying species of pine - oak overstory and Wild Pepper-Bush and rhododendron understory.

Directions

Turn South off the Mountain Parkway at Slade, KY to Highway 11 - Follow Hwy. 11 North 0. 1 mile to Hwy. 15. Travel East on Hwy. 15 7.0 miles to Hwy. 715. follow 715 4-5 miles to Whistling Arch Trail on the left.
