Follow SR-120 (Tioga Road), the road that bisects Yosemite National Park, to the Cathedral Lakes trailhead.

The route for this hike follows the Sunrise Trail through a variety of terrain passing some of the park's most famous landmarks. After passing Cathedral Lake and traveling over Cathedral Pass, the trail descends over rocky moraine to Sunrise Creek. The trail is bounded on the north by the Pinnacles (the south face of the Clouds Rest eminence) and on the south by Moraine Dome. A 4 mile rountrip hike to Half Dome can be accessed from the Sunrise Trail.
