Directions

Follow SR-120 (Tioga Road), the road that bisects Yosemite National Park, to the Cathedral Lakes trailhead.

Highlights

This hike to Upper Cathedral Lake travels over relatively easy terrain great for beginners. Hikers will pass the Fairview and Medlicott domes and can catch glimpses of Cathedral Peak, Unicorn Peak and Cockscomb. Ultimately one reaches Upper Cathedral Lake at the base of Cathedral Peak.
