Tauschers Trail circles the northeast section of the park arriving at the cabin area from either direction. It winds through pine plantations, dense stands of alder and fields containing numerous wildflowers. Wildlife abounds in this section of the park and it is not uncommon to startle deer or grouse along the trail.
Directions: From Wellsboro, Pa, Take US 6 northeast approximately 6 miles and turn left on Township Road 650. Travel a short distance and turn right on SR 4037. Travel past the park office and turn left. You may begin on the trail in the first lot after making the turn or begin farther down the road by picnic shelter no. 3.
Tauschers Trail winds through a lovely pine forest and open fields. Songbirds are plentiful in the area.
