Trail Description

The Stevenson Brook Trail is a very enjoyable 3.6 mile hike. The easy trail is actually a nature loop which ends at the Little River Trail in Mt. Mansfield State Forest. This path meanders through open field which once served as pasture land. You'll be able to see remnants of an old sawmill along with stonewalls that once stood on the property. Several brooks must be negotiated.

Directions: From Waterbury, VT, From the junction of SR 100 and US 2 travel 1.5 miles west on US 2. Turn right (north) on Little River Road and go 3.5 miles to the park. The trail begins in the campground.
