This trail provides access to the Lolo Motorway from Highway 12. The trail is generally in good condition. It was maintained in 1998. The trail is located mostly in brush fields and provides good viewing of Sherman Creek and the surrounding mountains. The trail receives some bike use, but waterbars and steepness prevent good bike travel.
