This multipurpose trail is located on a roadbed and is 3.4 miles long. The trail follows an easy grade and passes through several wooded timber stands of various tree species. Wildflowers and occasional wildlife can be seen in the area. The upper portion of the trail becomes boggy during wet periods and crossings could be difficult. During the winter the trail is open to snowmobiles but is not groomed. The width of this trail permits the use of 4-wheelers. Trail users have the option either to continue to Granite Peak or Frater Lake on Trail 142, or to return to the trailhead.
Directions: From Colville, Travel east on Hwy. 20 for 26 miles. Turn off on County Rd 4987. Follow this for approximately 2 miles to the trailhead.

DirectionsFrom Spokane, take US-395 north to Colville. From there, follow highway 20 eastbound for 26 miles to County road #4987. Take this 2 miles to the trailhead.
HighlightsThis trail is open to every type of recreation travel except automoblie. The trail begins near the Lake Gillette Recreation area.
