Helpful Hints

By Travel Expert: Johnny Molloy
Rating:
  • Travel to a fascinating geological feature, the Natural Tunnel. The Natural Tunnel is a double-ended cave, cut by a tributary of Bennett Springs Branch. You can walk completely through the cave.
  • Using the trail system you can make an eight-mile loop to the Natural Tunnel and back. This area is rich with wildlife. You may see deer or turkeys on your hike and certainly songbirds aplenty
  • The entire park is worth exploring, with its campground, nature center and spring where anglers vie for trout.
