Description

This loop consists primarily of unpaved surface. The loop is 27 miles long. It is one of the longer mountain biking trails in Chippewa. Primitive camping is available at Grove Lake.

Directions

Take US Highway 2 to State Highway 46. Take State Highway 46 and make a right onto County Route 29. Follow CR 29 and make a left onto Forest Route 3330. This unpaved road will lead to forest route 2229, which is where you can begin the trail.

Highlights

One of the longer loops in Chippewa. The ride is decorated with old growth pine.
