Description

This trail is easy hiking on a semi-gravel trail, especially built to accommodate the disabled.

  • Start: Koomer Ridge Campground Site (#39 & #41)
  • End: Koomer Ridge Amphitheater

Directions

Turn South off the mountain Parkway at Slade. KY to Highway 11. Follow Hwy. 11 North, 0.1 mile to Hwy. 15. Travel East 4.9 miles to Koomer Ridge Campground on left. Koomer Ridge Campground Site (#39 & #41).

Highlights

Trail is built to accommodate the disabled. Plant life is pine/hardwood overstory with varying species of Flowering Dogwood an other intermediate shrubs. The attraction is Forest environment.
