Travel the Horse Creek Trail and make a six-mile loop through the Shawnee National Forest.
The path travels through the wooded bottoms of Horse Creek on an old roadbed, then turns up a parallel ridgeline, returning toward the trails. The ridgeline has deep ravines dropping off it.
Elevation changes are less than 200 feet, yet offer varied trail envionments.
