Description

Along you this you can find huckleberries that are a delight in the late summer, but they can't be outdone by the trillium and rhododendron you can find displayed in the spring.

Directions

From Crescent City take 101 north to 199. South of Hiouchi bridge on the east side of the highway across from the "End of 40 mph speed limit" sign you can find the trailhead.

Highlights

The trail takes you through a burned out redwood tree and provides plenty of scenic views of the blue-green Smith River.
