  • This is one of the best wilderness hikes in Missouri. Hercules Glades is renown for it extensive grassy glades, open areas that give the wilderness a western feel to it.
  • This 12,315-acre wilderness has over 30 miles of trails and is suitable for backpacking as well as day hiking. Note: This trail system is shared with equestrians.
  • Hike along clear streams that contrast with open ridgetop meadows with views that will exceed your wildest expectations.

Description

This is a wilderness area of the Mark Twain National Forest located east of Branson. Most of the park's trails are loops that climb the mountains and hills.
