Description

Runs south along the Henry Fork Creek before turning west at the junction with the Henrys upper loop. Continues west where it meets FS road 077 and the start of the Wild Cat Trail. Winds through open meadows, willow, aspen and lodgepole forest.

Directions

Take Wyoming State Highway 414 out of Mountain View to Lonetree. Turn off at Lonetree onto Unita County Road #290 and follow signs to Phillips Production Plant. Ski trails is located about about 1/2 mile past the Phillips Plant site.

Highlights

Much of the trail runs on a bench above the creek floodplain and provides an excellent opportunity to view wildlife.
