Hawes Peak is a 4.5-mile moderate trail beginning on 2W08, about a quarter mile northeast of Tent Peg Campground on 3N34. The trail ends at a yellow post site on 3N41.

Directions: From North Shore - Lake Arrowhead, CA, Travel east to Forest Service Road 2N26Y then to FS 3N34 to Tent Peg Campground. The trail starts a quarter mile northeast of the campground on FS 2W08. Travel 1.3 miles to Pacific Crest Trail then follow the PCT east a quarter mile to FS 2W14 and go north 3.3.miles. The trail ends at a yellow post site on FS 3N41.
