Click here to edit!A hike on a sand beach and along oceanside cliffs. Generally easy, with some steep sections. Sand beach is a rarity in this part of Maine. This is one of the few sandy, protected beaches in the area. The views of themountains of Acadia and of offshore islands are breathtaking.
DirectionsFrom Somesville, take Maine Route 102 south to Seal Cove Road. Turn left on Seal Cove Road and continue until you reach its intersection with Long Pond Road. Turn left on Long Pond Road and follow it until it dead-ends at Long Pond.
