Trail Description

Fuller Ridge Trail is a 5-mile moderate hike that is actually part of the 2,650-mile Pacific Crest Trail. Starting at an elevation of 7,600 feet, Fuller Ridge follows the high timbered ridge above Snow Creek offering spectacular views of the desert. The trail joins the Deer Springs Trail at an elevation of 9,200 feet, where a strenuous portion proceeds 2.5 miles up to San Jacinto Peak at 10,805 feet.

Directions: From Idylwild, CA, Drive northwest on Highway 243 to Black Mountain Road (Forest Road 4S01). Travel northeast on Black Mountain Road to the parking area at Fair View Point.
