Description

The hightlight may be the Jocassee Gorges on the North South Carolina border. There are many trail heads to the foothills trail. At the east end the trail head is in Tablerock State park and the West end at Oconee State park, both of which are just across the border in South Carolina.

Directions

There are many trailheads for this trail. One popular access point is through Tablerock State Park. From US 276, which runs north/south across the NC/SC border take SC 11 west and follow signs for the park. Information on the trail is available there.
