Fish Loop Trail is a short loop from the Packers Bay Parking Lot. Trail extends a mere 0.7-mile affording good access for fishing and an opportunity for hike-in camping on the scenic point. Note: campfire permits are required.

Directions: From Redding, CA, Take Interstate 5 north 17 miles to the O'Brien exit. Turn left, drive underneath highway, then board on-ramp for Interstate 5 south. Drive 1.5 miles south to Packers Bay exit, turn west. Travel 1.5 miles on Packers Bay Road to trailhead and boat ramp.

Fish Loop Trail affords an opportunity to overnight at a quiet waterfront campsite.
