This moderately strenuous trail leads to the mouth of the First Creek Canyon. Visitors to the trail need to follow the left side of the wash for a distance. Some rock scrambling is required thereafter. Seasonal waterfalls can be found in the canyon.
Please Note: Carry water, at least one gallon per person per day in the summer. Wear appropriate footwear suitable for hiking and a hat. Watch the weather, mountain thunderstorms can cause flash flooding in the canyons and nearby washes.
Directions: From Las Vegas, Travel ten miles west along State Route 159. Once at the Red Rock Canyon Visitor Center take Charleston Blvd (SR159) south of the Scenic Loop terminus for 2.6 miles to the First Creek Trailhead.
Located west from Las Vegas, within the Red Rock Canyon and sitting at an elevation 1,110 feet this is a moderately strenuous 5 mile scenic trail.
