Directions

The park entrance is midway between Cortez and Mancos off U.S. 160. Trail can be reached from a small parking turnout on the narrow road to Cedar Tree Tower ruin.

Highlights

The trail winds through junipers, and descends 200 feet into gambel oaks surrounding stone-walled farming terraces built by the Anasazi around 1000-1200 A.D.
