Trail Description

This trail leads one mile from High Bridge Trailhead to Coon Lake. The lake lies on the southwestern base of McGregor Mountain. From the trailhead you'll climb 600 feet along switchbacks to reach a trail fork immediately before the lake. At this fork bear right to the lake. This is a good place for bird watching.

Directions: From Stehekin, Travel westward on Stehekin River Road 11.3 miles to the trailhead at High Bridge. Cross the river road and begin hiking northeastward to Coon Lake.
