Trail Description

The Condor Gulch Trail leads from the Bear Gulch Visitor Center northward to connect with the High Peaks Trail. The trail begins by following a small drainage as it winds through the interior of the monument. After a mile the trail leaves the stream and switchbacks to reach the High Peaks Trail. The total mileage for Condor Gulch Trail is 1.7 miles. It can be used in conjunction with the High Peaks Trail to create a loop hike.

Directions: From Bear Gulch Visitor Center, The trailhead is directly across the park road from the visitor center.

The Condor Gulch Trail is considered strenuous by the park service. It leads 1.7 miles northward from the Bear Gulch Visitor Center.
