Trail Description

Sitting at an elevation of 1130 feet this moderately strenuous trail runs along the base of the Calico Rocks from Calico Basin to the Sandstone Quarry. Distance is variable since the trail can be accessed at either end or from either of the two Calico parking areas. A side trail runs from the Fee Booth Parking lot and connects with this trail.

Please Note: Carry water, at least one gallon per person per day in the summer. Wear appropriate footwear suitable for hiking and a hat. Watch the weather, mountain thunderstorms can cause flash flooding in the canyons and nearby washes.
