Trail Description

Most people come to Buck Creek State Park to enjoy the 1,350-acre Clarence J. Brown Reservoir with its 33 miles of shoreline. Boating and fishing reign as recreational pursuits. However, 8 - 10 miles of earthen path give hikers and horseback riders a nice view of the lake while at the same time affording opportunities in bird watching and nature study. In winter, snowmobilers use the trails.

Directions: From Springfield, OH, Travel north along State Route 4 turning right on Croft Road then left on Robert Eastman Road. Take another left on Buck Creek Lane to enter the park.

Hikers, horseback riders, and snow mobilers are offered approximately 10 miles of trail. Other recreational opportunities such as fishing and boating fill the day.
