Click here to edit!The Bonanza Mine Trail is a strenuous, eight-mile climb starting at the turnoff near Kennecott. After the mostly level road grows steep and rocky, the path begins to narrow; cyclists may wish to walk their bike up the hill. Approximately one mile from the trail's end, the road steepens dramatically and forks in several different directions. All routes lead to the ridgetop, where hikers are rewarded with great views to the north and of the mine ruins directly below.
