Click here to edit!A little known trail area that is still being developed. It is a New York State Forest Area and all trails arewell marked. Wooden bridges go over small rivers andwet gulches and there is one section that maybe the best singletrack in this area. There are not a lot of trails but they will certainly keep you alert and active for a few hours.
DirectionsThe Bluestone Forest Parking Area is on the North side of Route 28 about 6 miles west of the Kingstontraffic circle at exit 19 on the NYS Thruway. If yougo two more miles you come to route 375 which goesNorth to Woodstock.
HighlightsTrails go around and between two lakes. Excellent singletrack although somewhat unkept.
