Trail Description

The Blueberry Trail is a short hike frequented by campers. The blue-blazed trail begins near the camper's pay telephone just past the ranger station. It is a loop trail with a small segment overlapping Perimeter Trail (yellow-blazed). Plant enthusiasts will be interested in knowing that this trail is the only path within Greentbelt where Eastern White Pine may be viewed.

Directions: From Washington, D.C., (The park is located 12 miles from Washington, D.C.) Take Exit 23 (Route 201) Kenilworth Avenue South to (Route 193) Greenbelt Road East. The park is a quarter mile on the right. The park address is 6565 Greenbelt Road (Route 193). After entering the park, take a right at the stop sign traveling southwest along Park Central Road. Turn right into the campground area. The trailhead is located near the entrance, just past the pay telephone.

The Blueberry Trail is 1 mile and is located near the campground area and is marked by blue blazes.
