Click here to edit!This trail in the Hiawatha Ntnl. Forest is about 1/2 mile portage to big island lake; from there you can cross and on the righthand side there is a short portage to long lake. Long lake is small and very secluded. Very nice for an afternoon getaway; lots of fishing in Big island.
