Trail Description

The very scenic Big Bend Trail travels to a loop in the area known as Big Bend. It offers some of the best park views and some of the best opportunities for viewing varying species of the resident wildlife that includes white-tailed deer, skunk, fox, timber rattlesnake and 150 species of birds. This isolated rim features canyon walls towering 550 feet.

Directions: From Rochester, NY, Take Interstate 390 south to Exit 7. Travel SR 408 South to SR 36 North. Follow signs to the park entrance about one mile away. This will be the Mount Morris entrance. The trail is located on the east side of the park.

A popular eastside trail, Big Bend is only 2.5 miles in length and open for hikers, mountain bikers, horseback riders, cross-country skiers and snowmobilers.
