Click here to edit!A Short footpath on the west side of State Hwy.15, across from the parking area takes you to a scenic vista overlooking Bear Creek Canyon. This vista is named after the famous mountain lion and bear hunter, Ben Lilly. At the end of the foot trail, is a plaque commemorating the many hunting exploits of Ben Lilly.
DirectionsFollow State Hwy. 15 for 9 miles North of Silver City. As you travel North you will pass through the historic settlement of Pinos Altos. Aprox. 3 Miles beyond Pinos Altos is the Ben Lilly Memorial. A parking area is located on the east side of state Hwy. 15. The parking area can accommodate up to 12 passenger vehicles. Large motorhomes and travel trailers are not reccommended.
