Meander along the shore of Florida Bay and watch for remnants of a former outpost fishing village. Begin at the Coastal Prairie Trailhead at the back of loop "C" in the Flamingo Campground. Veer left at the trail junction to the bay. The scenery is gorgeous! Wading birds may be spotted fishing along the water's edge.

Directions: From Flamingo, FL, Trailhead is at the back of loop "C" in the Flamingo Campground which is located at the end of Main Park Road approximately 38 miles south of the main entrance. Signage is good.

Travel to the Flamingo Campground to enjoy panoramic views out into the Florida Bay.
