Description

The trail is mainly used for hunting but also offers both hiking and camping opportunities.

Directions

Take Highway 12 east from Townsend for 2 miles, turn north on Highway 284 (Canyon Ferry Road) and continue for about 28 miles to the Magpie Road #425. Take the Magpie Road for 4 miles to the mouth of Bar Gulch and trailhead.
