Description

You'll experience the Uinta Range’s alpine grandeur on this well-graded trail to the top of 11,947-foot Bald Mountain. The four-mile round-trip is the easiest summit in the area with an elevation gain of 1,250 feet, but can still be strenuous due to the elevation. Most of the trail lies above timberline, so you have good views most of the way. The trailhead is at Bald Mountain Pass, 29 miles east of Kamas on the Mirror Lake Scenic Byway (UT 150).
