Description

The trail leaves Double Arch Trail #201 and extends through a wooded canyon to the base of Courthouse Rock. Local flora of sweet smelling Mayapple, Crane Fly Orchid, and New York Fern can be seen in cove stands of tall Tulip Poplars and dispersed (huge) knotted American Beeches along the rocky branch.

Directions

Turn South off the Mountain Parkway at Slade. KY to Highway 11. Follow Hwy. 11 North 0. 1 Nile to Hwy. 15. Travel East on Hwy. 15 3.2 miles to Tunnel Ridge Road on the left. Follow Tunnel Ridge Road 4.8 miles to it's terminus. then walk down Trail #201 0.1 mile to Auxier Branch Trail #203 on the right.
