The road's width and gradual incline make this hike easily suited for hikers of all ages and abilities. Access for motorized vehicles, including snowmobiles is prohibited on this road.

Directions: From Paseo de Peralta, Santa Fe, Follow to the north end to Washington Ave. Head north on Washington Avenue to Ski Basin rd. Follow this Rd 13 miles. The trail can be accessed from Aspen Vista Picnic Area, just beyond the 13 mile marker. Parking should be available.

This trail is the most popular in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains of Santa Fe.
