Trail Description

The Aspen Trail is located in the southwest corner of the state park bordering the Moshannon State Forest and the Mid State Airport. The trail is a foot path which spurs off the Moss-Hanne Trail and then rejoins it a little than a mile down the path.

Directions: From Philipsburg, PA, Travel SR 504 east about 9 miles to the state park. Once you enter the park, turn right on West Side Drive. Take it to the very end where there is an overlook spot and trailhead for the Moss-Hanne Trail. Begin on Moss-Hanne and travel it winding around Black Moshannon Bog Natural Area and past the Mid State Airport to reach the southwest area of the park. Aspen Trail spurs right and then intersects about a mile down combining with Moss-Hanne Trail again.

Aspen Trail is a small spur trail running off Moss-Hanne Trail in the southwestern area of the park.
