The trail is mostly very well maintained, which is great because it is somewhat steep in some places. The last 1/2 mile of the trail is very steep (somewhat like rock climbing), but chain is supplied for assistance & extra security.

Angel's Landing is a peak with awesome view above Zion Canyon. Notable features of the trail: Refrigerator Canyon (a cool part of hike), Walter's Wiggles (multiple switchbacks), and of course the route from Scout's Lookout to Angel's Landing.
