Description

The trail extends along a wooded ridge side that leads under a high cliff to Angel Windows.

  • Start: Parched Corn Overlook on Highway 715
  • End: Angel Windows
  • Trail Connections: None
  • Elevation: 1100'- 1140'

Directions

Turn South off the Mountain Parkway at Slade. KY to Highway It. Follow Hwy. 11 North 0.1 mile to Hwy. 15. Travel east on Hwy. 15 7-0 miles to Hwy. 715 on the left. Travel North on Hwy. 715 3.8 miles to Angel Window's Trail 0218 on the left.

Highlights

Plant life along the trail consists of mixed pine hardwood overstory with moist heath rhododendron shrubs and beautiful flowering Fire-Pink wildflowers. The trail's main attraction is Angel Windows.
