Trail Description

This trail leaves Rabun Beach campground, passes Panther Falls, and ends at an observation deck beneath Angel Falls. The last .25 mile is steep.

Directions: From Tallulah, Take US 441 north for 3 miles and turn left on old Hwy. 441 (sign for Raburn Beach Recreation area). Proceed to lake Raburn Road and turn left. Go 4.5 miles and turn right into parking area adjacent to telephone station.

This 1.6 mile trail leaves Raburn Beach campground, passes Panther Falls, and ends at an observation deck beneath Angel Falls.

Description

This trail leaves the Rabun Beach campground, passes Panther Falls, and ends at an observation deck beneath Angel Falls. Last 0.25-mile is steep.

Highlights

This short but great hike to two stunningly beautiful waterfalls, among the cool and refreshing woodlands, is a sight not to be missed.
