Description

These are dirt trails leading high up into the hills very close to the mountains at the base of Cucamonga Peak. Depending on how far you go, it's appropriate for various experience levels.

Directions

Take Hermosa Ave. all the way north until it ends at the base of the mountain. Park alongside Almond St. just to the west. Follow the dirt road into the oak grove, it will turn to the right, and you will see the incline where the trail begins.

Highlights

Spectacular views of the local city as you travel up/down through the Alta Loma wilderness. Very quite, low use, and completely surrounded by wilderness. Nothing but mountains, hills, and the view of the city in the distance.
