Trail Description

Albany Brook Trail begins just before entering the campground. The trail is a good hike for families camping with small children. There is relatively no elevation gain and the path follows an interesting route past a small creek, past Crocker Pond and then into a secluded area by Round Pond.

Directions: From Bethel, ME, The trail begins at the turnaround just before the Crocker Pond Campground. To reach Crocker Pond, follow SR 5 to the junction of the Patte Brook Road. Turn right (west) to the Crocker Pond Campground Road. OR take US 2 to West Bethel, turn southeast onto the Flat Road to the junction of the Crocker Pond Campground Road.

This is a very pleasant trail which is convenient to campers and their families.
