Some refer to the Agonikak Trail as the Agonikak Mountain Bike Trail. Fact is the trail is used by a variety of users including cross-country skiers, hikers, mountain bikers, and those with motorized vehicles. Caution should be heeded when using this 10.5-mile trail. The trail is not groomed in winter; oversight belongs to the Watersmeet Ranger District. Circuit trails are possible with Watersmeet / Land O' Lakes Rail-Trail for a 26 mile loop. If you are a biker and venture onto Watersmeet Cross-country Ski Trail, you should note that it is not suitable as a return route due to soggy wetlands. Other nearby trails include the Watersmeet Visitor Center Interpretive Trail and the State Line Rail-Trail.
